This is about a mother who watched her son follow his dream. To share in it she volunteered in the costume shop where she fell in love with fabrics, sewing, trims, and shiny things. After many hours of volunteer hours she was hired as the assistant costumer to a wonderful lady who taught her many tricks of the trade. Though she can make tutus her focus is on makings men’s ballet jackets and dance-wear.
Her son, Xander grew up and is in a professional company now. Wanting to shed the customary white t-shirt and black tights of schools he asked his mother to make him wild and crazy dance-wear. Many dancers asked where they could buy the shorts he wore. So after different designs, working out flaws , better machines and a lot of research they came up the X-series.
Xander continues to be her muse, inspiration, and encourager.
She also met an incredible man whose mentorship gave her the ability to start her business and launch this website. He gave his precious time to hold her hand. He shared his business contacts. And gave her opportunities to stretch and use her talents. She will be forever grateful to Jason Reed. Visit Jason’s website.
